The main drawback of the Y-Shaped Seal is only one-way function, piston type bidirectional sealing need to use a pair of Y-Shaped Seal ring to increase the axial dimensionY-Shaped Ring of the cross-sectional dimensions greater than the O-rings.so the installation groove dimensions larger. Sometimes, need to use a split groove in order to facilitate the installation.
